LEXAN BARRIER
The Lexan barrier is the result of modular barrier sections made up of impact protection column support posts and transparent panels.
This barrier is increasingly used in breakout zones and pedestrian areas that need protecting from the risk of impacts and collisions with load handling equipment, primarily thanks to the structure’s sophisticated appearance and design.
Lexan barriers are easy to install: the transparent panels are slotted between the ERTAX technopolymer posts by means of specific guide rails. The shockproof columns have all the features and advantages of the GO SYSTEMS impact protection bollard. The protection provided by the columns is enhanced by the technology and mechanical characteristics of Lexan panels, which boast remarkable elastic memory.
The material of the panels is also used for making visors for hard hats, helmets and impact protection shields for the police force, as well as for printing vehicle light clusters. It is remarkably versatile and can be customised to suit different needs: it is generally supplied in the blue-tinted version but a smoke-grey or transparent version is also possible. Various thicknesses are also available, including fully-fledged bulletproof panels.
